"We cannot say enough about Villa Cipressi. Davide, the hotel manager and event director, took care of every detail flawlessly. After deciding on the venue, we only really spent one hour with him a few weeks before deciding the entire menu, wine, linens, timeline, table arrangements - all things related to the reception. The day before, I dropped off our seating chart, menus and table numbers (they also will print personalized ones for you but I diy-ed mine), confetti (traditional sugared almonds) and other candy. Our friends picked up our flowers from the florist and dropped them off that morning. When we arrived there after the ceremony for the party, everything was arranged perfectly. From the cocktail hour, to the multi-course lunch, to the cake-cutting and the dessert buffet, everything ran smoothly. Davide was on top of it all and I didn't have to worry about a thing. When a guest arrived late, they immediately set up a place for him (that they had previously cleared away), all without me having to even signal the waiter. The venue itself is a dream. A picturesque 14th century villa on the shores of Lake Como... it was everything that we hoped our special day to be."
