"The venue is beautiful, but the customer service needs some work. They really try to nickel-and-dime you. They also make early promises and don't deliver... such as providing candles for hurricanes, providing votives ILO tea lights, allowing for items to be picked-up the morning after... the little things. It was also a major deal for them to hang italian lights in tulle above doorways - this was also an early promise, but then they acted like they were doing me such a huge favor by doing it for me. But, at least the wedding day went smoothly. (I only realized later in photos that they ordered the wrong table clothes! And they were $35 a piece!!)"

"This is a beautiful venue with huge windows looking out at a prairie-style golf course. I was very happy with them, they did a great job decorating and had great attention to detail. There was a loft type area they let me use at no charge for kids (we did hire babysitters to supervise) and let us bring in outside food for the kids. We also got a discount for having it in the off-season which my parents appreciated. A few things that bothered me were you had to have a tip jar out for the bar (even though my parents paid 19% gratuity to everyone), the lights were not on over the very long drive up to the club even though it was dark out (time had just changed and apparently the airport has control over those), I felt a bit cheated out of the tasting I was supposed to have b/c there were no other couples scheduled to attend they made it into a "private" tasting with limited dishes available and no decorations (although they did let me bring 2 extra people at no charge). The food was really good and I thought they did a great job with serving, decorating, etc. I would recommend this place to someone else although I would try to check on specifics (like the bar tip jar, up charges for food selections, etc.) prior to signing a contract/putting down payment. We did not have a long time to plan (5mos.) so a lot of the little things we did not look into at the beginning. All in all though I was very happy with how the reception turned out and received many compliments from guests."
