Carol Stream Wedding In June
"A stunning hands-on museum featuring exhibits such as Harry Potter and the U-505 Submarine."
Nabiha and Erik's Chicagoland
"Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry, one of the largest science museums in the world, is home to more than 35,000 artifacts and nearly 14 acres of hands-on exhibits designed to spark scientific inquiry and creativity. We have welcomed more than 175 million guests in our 75 years, and our ongoing mission has been to inspire the inventive genius in all of them with world-class, permanent exhibits such as the U-505 Submarine, the only German U-boat in the United States; or world-premiere temporary exhibits such as 2008's Smart Home: Green + Wired. The Museum of Science and Industry opened its doors in 1933 and is the largest science museum in the Western Hemisphere."
Pamela and José
"Visit a coal mine, a U-505 Submarine and other cool scientific stuff! Located on Lake Shore Drive between the church and reception site."
Chicago Wedding In June
"Another fun attraction right next to the lake."
Tracey and John's Wedding
"The Harry Potter exhibition, sets and costumes from the movies. Plus people talking with fake British accents."
Todd and Jennifer's Wedding
"My favorite museum (surprise). The green line will take you straight there, its not really as far as it looks. Also, if you've read Devil In The White City, this is where the World's Fair was held."
Themi and Brian's Wedding
"The U-505 German submarine--on display since 1954--is the only remaining submarine of its type and a National Historic Landmark. An underground, climate-controlled exhibit includes veteran testimonials, interactive replicas and re-enactments. Onboard tours available for $5. Other favorite exhibits include the Coal Mine, which seems to go hundreds of feet down to demonstrate (in a 25-minute tour) how miners work. Colleen Moore's Fairy Castle doll house, one of the world's most famous miniature masterpieces, has also fascinated children and adults for generations. While some attractions at this museum veer away from its ostensive mission--to advance science and technology education--most recent exhibits use the latest in exhibitry to explain important and up-to-date subjects: "Take Flight" details modern aeronautics inside a real Boeing 727 hanging from the balcony and "AIDS: The War Within'' is one of the nation's most advanced exhibits on the epidemic. The Omnimax Theatre, with its domed, five-story screen and booming sound system, is also a popular attraction."
Chicago Wedding In May
"The MSI is the largest museum of science in the U.S., and is walking distance from the University of Chicago. Also, check out the museum's great neo-classic architecture, which stands as a relic from the famous Chicago World's Fair."
Michelle and Ian's Wedding
"What do you get with one genuine U-Boat, intelligent LEGO, more interactive exhibits than you can shake a stick at, an Omnimax theater, and the Coal Mine? The most fun museum EVER, that's what."
Our Wedding
"Enjoy all the museum has to offer."
Susie & Brian's Wedding

"Taylor's favorite museum! (Yep, she's a nerd!)"
