This is simply one of the coolest parks we know of. There are sculptures and gardens and a beautiful free outdoor concert space; an ice rink in the winter; a cool interactive fountain/splash pool that kids love. The Family Fun Festival begins the weekend of our celebration, and there's a free children's choir concert on Sunday afternoon, for anyone who's interested.
