Honolulu Wedding In November
Honolulu   |   November, 2010   |   Points of Interest & Things to Do

"In all my trips I have not been to Pearl Harbor yet. If you do plan on going, be sure to go early as Bosso and Matt will attest! It books up incredibly quickly and you really could end up spending the entire day there, so the early bird definitely gets the worm."

Ko'olina Wedding In August
Ko'Olina, Oahu, Hawaii   |   August, 2010   |   Attraction

"At Pearl Harbor, you can visit the USS Arizona memorial, which honors the soldiers killed in the 1941 attack. Admission is free, but get there early to avoid long lines. You'll get to see a short movie, then take a ferry ride out to the memorial, all courtesy of the US Navy."

The Kahala Wedding In May
Oahu   |   May, 2010   |   Attractions

"The historical landmark of the Japanese bombing in World War II. Free ferries take visitors to the Arizona Memorial, which floats atop a sunken battleship. Very humbling experience, to this day families throw leis into the water to honor those who gave their lives that day."

Laurie and Stacy's Wedding
Honolulu   |   July, 2009   |   Attraction

"The National Park Service has operated the USS Arizona Memorial since 1980, under a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Navy. Its responsibility includes the memorial and shoreline visitor center. The National Park Service is committed to preserving and interpreting the tangible and intangible historical resources and the memories, attitudes and traditions associated with the attack on Pearl Harbor. Each year the USS Arizona Memorial consistently ranks among the top three most heavily visited tourist destinations in the state of Hawaii. Visitors should expect heavy visitation throughout the year. Daily visitation to the memorial often reaches in excess of 5,000 people. Admission to the memorial is free. Free tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis (these tickets are not reservable) for timed programs to the memorial. Timed programs include a 23-minute documentary film about the attack on Pearl Harbor and the boat trip to the USS Arizona Memorial."
