"In my opinion, best shave ice on the island and over 60 years of history. If you want to be local, order it with vanilla ice cream and "azuki" sweet red beans. ONO, as the Hawaiians say for "delish!" Look for the celebrity photos on the wall, including Tom Hanks and Adam Sandler."

"This is the most famous shave ice place on the North Shore (maybe on the island?) If the line is too long, Aoki's next door is supposed to be good too. The ice is not as fine as Waiola's, but the flavored syrups seem to be sweeter. Alex and Lauren love shave ice with ice cream!"
