"Occupying 30 acres inside Piedmont Park, the grounds contain acres of display gardens, including a 2-acre interactive children's garden; a hardwood forest with walking trails; the Fuqua Conservatory, which has unusual and threatened flora from tropical and desert climates; and the award-winning Fuqua Orchid Center, with a spectacular collection of tropical and high-elevation orchids. "Located on the edge of Piedmont Park, the gardens are really beautiful and include the Fuqua Orchid Center and a great children's garden. If you are here on Thursday night, the gardens are open late for cocktails and music."

"The beauty of the botanical gardens made for a great location for our wedding and reception. The gardens were in full bloom and absolutely gorgeous so we didn't have to do much in the way of flowers. If I was only rating the location I would give it "5 stars", however the primary event manager, Robyn, was not easy to work with. She was sometimes difficult, unresponsive (even a week out from the wedding), and not very friendly. Fortunately for the day of the wedding, you are assigned a different event manager that handles the logistics of the event itself. Our wedding day event manager, Nicole, was wonderful and ran the event beautifully. One thing to note, if you have an outdoor wedding at this location and choose a tent as your "rain plan" make sure you understand the policy upfront. We were told there were 2 "approved" tent vendors we could choose from, but when we asked for their contact information a month out from the event (to reserve a tent as a backup) we were only provided with one "option" - needless to say the price of the tent was ridiculous and the overall service was terrible. You can hold your wedding indoors at the botanical garden as well so that's perhaps a better option."

"The Fuqua Conservatory, the garden's centerpiece, is a giant greenhouse enclosing climate-controlled ecosystems carefully replicating the Amazonian jungle, Saharan Africa, and more. Toddlers love the Children's Garden, while grownups of all kinds enjoy beautiful nature walks and the Fuqua Orchid Center showcasing a wide variety of exotic orchids - not to mention the wonderful view of the Midtown skyline from the Robinson Gazebo in the Fuqua Orchid Center."
