St. Augustine Wedding In April
"Chicago publisher Otto C. Lightner opened this museum which features items of Victoriana, as well as a stained glass room by Louis Comfort Tiffany."

"Wedding Authority - We had the ceremony at the Lightner Courtyard on the bridge, it was a interfaith ceremony, featuring a Rabbi and a Reverend, an uneven amount of groomsmen and bridesmaids, a little support animal in a dress and a few physically challenged fathers and a nervous groom and bride with little coordination and the beginning of shoe pain. Fortunately, we had Carla who is best described as the extremely important sticky stuff on the envelope of wedding ceremonies. She stuffed all my hard wedding planning work and totally sealed the deal ! I wish I could explain to you how she did it other than she was the glue and just made it happen and it was incredible !"

"Admission $10 Relics of America's Gilded Age are elegantly exhibited on the museum's three floors. Costumes, furnishings, mechanical musical instruments and other artifacts give you a glimpse into 19th century daily life. The Lightner collection includes beautiful examples of cut glass, Victorian art glass and the stained glass work of Louis Comfort Tiffany."

"I dont think that we could have possibly got married at any place more beautiful and romantic than The Lightner Museum courtyard in St Augustine! It was a gorgeous spring day, the weather was perfect, and all of the flowers in the courtyard were blooming! The arcitecture of the building makes it look like a castle and the coy pond is so pretty!"

"A1A Aleworks food was delicious! The Lightner was a beautiful surrounding for our reception. The actual room was a little small but we had our 80 guests in there and we fit just fine."

"Beautiful location! Too bad you have to go through The Wedding Authority who are HORRIBLE to get married there."
Tiffany and Mike's Wedding
"Getting married at the Lightner Museum was a dream! It was such a beautiful surrounding that there was really no need for decorating! We had the reception at a different site, however I would have liked to have used the reception room they had on site for the convenience of it! I recommend using the Wdding Authority for your wedding corrdinators, they are experienced and very thourough!"
Sara and Chris 's Wedding
"The Wedding Authority was the best. I had a perfect wedding because of them. I would tell everyone to go to Bill and Carla."
Sarah and Joe's Wedding
"Enjoy wandering through the museum's setting — the former Hotel Alcazar, built in 1887 in the Spanish Renaissance style. Railroad magnate Henry M. Flagler commissioned architects Carrere and Hastings to design the Alcazar and the Ponce de Leon Hotel (across the street). The two young architects later designed the New York Public Library and the U.S. Senate office building. After years of accommodating vacationing wealthy patrons, the elegant resort hotel closed. Chicago publisher, Otto C. Lightner, purchased the building to house his extensive collection of Victoriana in 1946 and opened the museum two years later. He gave the museum to the city of St. Augustine. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places."
