A visit to St. Augustine would not be complete without visiting the fort on the bayfront. This national monoment is definitely one of the best attractions in the city and at a beautiful location next to the historic district.

Though caught in the whirlwinds of colonial warfare and intrigue, it was never defeated in battle. Its scarred walls still stand witness to over 330 years of history and culture.
