If you want an aerial view of the city, but don't have time to wait in line at the Washington Monument, the Old Post Office has a tower that you can visit. This building looks like Cinderella's castle from the outside, and houses a decent food court and some governement agencies on the inside. Its a good place to stop if you're walking around to take a break, and enjoy the view from the Tower.
