While we're disheartened to hear Cara felt she wasn't receiving the service she desired, in Lilywillow's defense this project in particular was one of the most intensive we've dealt with in our history. With custom design services, three unique save-the-dates, three unique and individual invitations (one wedding, one reception, and one post-wedding party invitation), two response cards, one detail card, completely customized calligraphy (separated into the three groups receiving the different invitations), customized place cards, etc. there were unfortunately costs associated with all of these personalized design and printing options. All the pieces were printed on custom ordered papers and assembled into custom folders free of charge, organized by guest list and delivered after numerous changes to the scope of the project, as we had originally quoted the job (regardless of the changes in scope). Had the project been purchased and delivered through anyone else, online (minted.com, wedding paper divas, etc.) or otherwise, the costs associated with the project would have more than doubled given the level of personalization. In regards to communication, as with any vendor, this aspect of wedding coordination is a two-way street. Overall, we're very pleased with the level of design accomplished and the quality of the product produced for Cara and Darren and wish them both the best in their new future together.
