"This is a beautiful place to hold a small ceremony and reception. I was so pleased with the way everything turned out. It was a little touch and go at times because I found one of the employees there a little difficult to work with but I would still hold my wedding there again. Elizabeths is home to the catering company of Washington so they did the food as well. Everything was delicious! The guests raved about the appetizers and superb beef tenderloin. The cake turned out lovely as well but I think I would recommend bringing in a cake from a bakery. The only other note is that the bar charges are per consumption so keep that in mind. I do recommend elizabeths on L to anyone looking for a beautiful intimate wedding."

"I am very excited to be using this venue for my wedding reception in just a few weeks. I actually found this venue while researching locations online for my rehearsal dinner. (The Washingtonian perhaps?) The space itself is exactly what I was looking for: intimate and elegant with a touch of old hollywood glamour. And oh my goodness! There are two fireplaces and stained glass windows. It really is gorgeous. I started looking at the larger private venues and historic homes first and there were so many restrictions I got overwhelmed. Then I looked at a few hotels and just felt the spaces were more affordable, but too impersonal. Elizabeth’s on L was a great combination between the two. So far, including venue, food, staff, flowers, and rental equipment we are paying about 150 per person which is pretty reasonable for DC."

"We highly recommend the Catering Company of Washington, and suggest holding an event in their rowhouse. The food was delicious & the venue is beautiful. Plus, Kiley (a manager) was our best, most responsive vendor!"
