Producers of International Wedding Festival, With This Ring Bridal & Party Shows, Brides of Distinction Special Events, & The Wedding Planning Cruise with Carnival Cruise Lines

If you are looking for unique planning experiences, California Bridal Events has the approach for you!

We strive to education brides, not just act as a marketplace to find services. Our philosophy is that an empowered bride is an effective bride!

With such busy lives, modern women have become expert planners, resourceful in every way. Our planning seminars, cruises, workshops and shows each have thier own distinctive approach to the wedding planning process.

We are honored to be recognized by so many brides eager to manage the details of their special day. Many of our participants call us to share their experience at our events; something we take great pride in!

Feel free to contact one of our team members to learn more about our upcoming events and how to gain the most from them. As the producer, I want our participants to feel empowered from the experience of our events.

As a bride, you may never have participated in a wedding planning event.

Things to do to prepare for any bridal show or planning event:

1. Bring your calendar

2. Bring a notebook

3. Plan on spending anywhere from 2-6 hours at a show, depending on the size of the show. Most are anywhere from 25 - over 300 exhibitors.

4. If you have a consultant, bring him/her with you. They have a lot of knowledge about the area they work in and may already have a knowledge base about the exhibitors at the show. Also, your consultant will help you stay focused on what services/products should be tended to.

5. Type up mailing labels with your name, wedding date, address, phone number, email address, number of bridesmaids, and number of guests you anticipate (if you have made these decisions already). When you participate in any planning event, you will visit many exhibitors, each with their own forms. Bringing your own labels will save you a lot of time (and writing cramps)...

6. Sample everything!

7. Wear comfortable shoes.

8. Bring lots of water

9. Bring your task manager or "wedding timeline" so that you can update it as you secure services.

10. Bring a checkbook so that you can leave deposits with any products or services you would like to secure onsite.

11. Bring the address(es) of your ceremony/reception site(s) to give to providers upon acquisition of their services or products.

Remember, you are the customer. They are there to talk with you and are seeking your business. They should be open to answering any and all questions you have. Many will want to schedule a consultation (should be complimentary) to discuss their services in greater detail. You may find that if you are not "sold" on the product or service at that moment, that meeting with them in a "quieter" place one on one could be better.

If you have a "funny feeling" about a vendor, go with your instincts. Better not to find out later that your instincts were trying to tell you something.

After the show, take time to go through your event program and all of the goodies in your bridal gift bag.

Lastly, enjoy yourself. You are the star of the show! Relish in the attention! Enjoy the pampering and take lots of notes! Here are a few of our favorite exhibitors: www.themomentintime.com (Wedding Consulting) www.wedshopmall.com (Wedding Mall)

Our Wedding
Yosemite National Park   |   June, 2008   |   Coordinators/Planners

We found A Moment in Time through California Bridal Events. We highly recommend A Moment in Time Presents. Everything was perfect. Planning a wedding from another city is not the easiest thing to do. Kimberly made it very simple. The vendors she recommended were perfect. She kept us in our budget, and the day was absolutely beautiful! A NUMBER 1! I have already given Kimberly's information to our cousin who will be married in Yosemite next year!
