"The Sonoma plaza is an 8 acre park surrounded by shops and restaurants. For wine tasting on the plaza, we recommend Sebastini wine bar and the Sonoma Enoteca (the tasting room for 12 boutique wineries). For food, the El Dorado Kitchen or The Girl & the Fig are both great."
