Helen and Matt's Wedding
Burlingame, CA, USA   |   August, 2008   |   Attraction

Coit Tower is at the top of Telegraph Hill. You can walk down into the strange neighborhood without streets (but with long staircases) from here. This neighborhood was featured in the movie The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill.

Emily and Steve's Wedding
Mill Valley, CA   |   August, 2008   |   Attraction

Another of the San Francisco icons, in North Beach. This one is good for the views, although there isn't much else to do once you've taken the elevator ride to the top.

Burlingame Wedding In June
Burlingame, CA, USA   |   June, 2008   |   Bay Area Attractions

The view from here is one of the most impressive in San Francisco, taking in the Bay, two bridges, and the Marin Headlands. Inside, the first floor is decorated with excellent murals, commissioned by the WPA in 1933, depicting San Francisco history.

Lauren and Brian's Wedding
San Francisco, CA, USA   |   October, 2007   |   Attraction

Lauren Bacall lives in the etched glass building across the street in 'Dark Passage.' There's an incredible set of stairs down from the tower where wild parrots live.

Riquelen and Okem's Wedding
San Francisco   |   August, 2007   |   Attraction

Conventional wisdom holds that this monument is shaped like a fire-hose nozzle. It is not, at least not by design. The tower is the gift of Lilly Hitchcock Coit, an eccentric heiress who managed to stand out in a city full of them. Lilly's particular passion was for the San Francisco Fire Department. So when the money she left in her will for The City's beautification was used to construct the art deco tower on Telegraph Hill in 1932, people made assumptions. The view from here is one of the most impressive in San Francisco, taking in the Bay, two bridges, and the Marin Headlands. Inside, the first floor is decorated with excellent murals, commissioned by the WPA in 1933, depicting San Francisco history.
