Arcadia Wedding In August
"Along with the Library's collection of old books, the library also houses a large collection of American and English art, including paintings and arts and crafts. The gardens are also beautiful and extensive, including a rose garden, cactus garden, and traditional Japanese and Chinese gardens and houses."
Los Angeles Wedding In June

San Gabriel Wedding In June
"Another experience Will and Summer have enjoyed separately, but not yet together, The Huntington library, art collections, and botanical gardens is a beautiful place to stroll around and see various gardens, including Japanese, Rose, Shakespeare, Camellia, Jungle, Palm and Chinese gardens. The Huntington also has European and American Art Collections, and The Rose Garden Tea Room and Cafe, which requires reservations, is a lovely place to enjoy a buffet of finger foods, scones and tea while looking out at three acres of roses. Hours: M W TH F 12-4:30pm • SAT, SUN 10:30am-4:30pm • Closed TUES"
Torrance Wedding In August
"Come see the art collection and amazing sprawling gardens. You can really spend all day here and still not see everything, so it would be wise to wear comfy shoes, come early and be mindful of their short hours (10:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; closed Tuesdays). They even have a formal tea room, but if you want to go there be sure to make an appointment ahead of time."

"(14 miles from Calamigos Equestrian) The Huntington library and art collection is full of rare books, manuscripts, and contains many famous 18th century French & English portraits. The botanical gardens are tremendous, consisting of several themes and exotic plants from all over the world."
Manhattan Beach Wedding In May
"The Botanical Gardens are an ever-changing exhibition of color and a constant delight. Covering 120 acres, more than a dozen specialized gardens are arranged within a park-like landscape of rolling lawns. Among the most remarkable are the Desert Garden, the Japanese Garden, the Rose Garden, and the Chinese garden. The camellia collection is one of the largest in the country. Other important botanical attractions include the Subtropical, Herb, Jungle, and Palm gardens. The Huntington Art Galleries include one of the most distinguished collections of 18th- and 19th-century British paintings, sculpture, and decorative arts outside London, including Thomas Gainsborough’s Blue Boy, Joshua Reynolds’ Sarah Siddons as the Tragic Muse, and John Constable’s View on the Stour near Dedham."
Susan and Jack's Wedding
"The Huntington is a research and educational center set amidst 120 acres of breathtaking gardens. Three art galleries and a library showcase magnificent collections of paintings, sculptures, rare books, manuscripts, and decorative arts. The botanical collection features over 14,000 different species of plants. A private, nonprofit institution, The Huntington was founded in 1919 by railroad and real estate developer Henry Edwards Huntington and opened to the public in 1928. Highlights of the collection include the Ellesmere manuscript of Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales (c.1410), a Gutenberg Bible (c.1455), Thomas Gainsborough's masterpiece The Blue Boy (c. 1770), Sir Thomas Lawrence's Pinkie (1794), Edward Hopper's The Long Leg, Rogier van der Weyden's Madonna and Child (15th century), the spectacular 12-acre desert garden, the serenely beautiful Japanese garden, the camellia gardens, and much more. English tea in the Rose Garden Tea Room is a popular highlight to a day spent enjoying the cultural treasures of The Huntington."

"Beautiful and expansive gardens. Enjoy a stroll, a picnic, or an afternoon tea-- but, come with money for the entrance fee."
Our Wedding
"We went a few years back and had a great time. The gardens are very nice to walk through, and you can get some nice photos too. They have at least one resturant, and they even have a full "high tea luncheon", but reservations are required. First Thursday's of the month are complimentary. Worth the drive."
