"Excellent food, unbeatable beach location, and organized and efficient day of management by Masoud Fazeli. One of the other private event managers there was not all that friendly/helpful, please stay away from her (Virginia). Gorgeous location and overall fairly reasonable prices since venue is included as long as you meet a certain food/beverage minimum. The main negative with this caterer/venue is that there are no publicly published prices, you must negotiate with them on the food/beverage minimum, which seems a little odd. You never know whether you should be negotiating harder or if you are being taken advantage of, etc. I would have appreciated a published price list so that I knew what ballpark I was working with. The minimum we ultimately received for a Sunday in off season was overall about a thousand higher than what we got at other similiar restaurants, but due to the location, it might be worth your while. We decided a gorgeous sunset at the beach with great food was worth the 1k extra we burned (be aware that if you don't spend enough to meet your minimum, they charge you for it anyway). Overall, would do it there again!"

Gone are the old fashioned 1900's mahogany/tar & spar-like decor and fittings, supplanted by brilliant vistas available throughout by the walls upon walls of glass overlooking the rocky precipice to the Pacific. The most striking addition is the ultra-modern Sutro Wing, home of Sutro's, which features seafood and organic produce. The Cliff House Bistro--situated in the original location--offers more traditional fare and has a beautiful bar. Another addition is the Cliff House To Go, for takeaway orders."
