San Francisco Wedding In September
San Francisco   |   September, 2009   |   Attraction

"For those who have never been to San Francisco before this will be a MUST stop, especially if you do not bring the right clothing. Ever wonder why you see so many people wearing SF sweaters ? They came here NOT believing it can get cold. So if you think you're going to be tip-toeing around wearing flip flops, a g-string and a light coat of oil...think again !! I don't know what the girls would wear, so I have no comment on that."

Muir Beach Wedding In September
Muir Beach   |   September, 2008   |   Attraction

"It roughly encompasses the northern waterfront area of San Francisco from Ghirardelli Square or Van Ness Avenue east to Pier 35 or Kearny Street. It is best known for being the location of Pier 39, San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park, the Cannery Shopping Center, Ghirardelli Square, a Ripley's Believe it or Not museum, the Musée Mécanique, the Wax Museum at Fisherman's Wharf, Forbes Island and restaurants and stands that serve fresh seafood, most notably dungeness crab and clam chowder served in a sourdough bread bowl. Some of the restaurants, like Pompeii's and Alioto's #8, go back for three generations of the same family ownership. Nearby Pier 45, there is a chapel in memory of the "Lost Fishermen" of San Francisco and Northern California though it might not always be open everyday. Once a year, the chapel has a "service for the lost fishermen." - Wikipedia"

"Very touristy. Fisherman's Wharf remains one of San Francisco's most popular tourist destinations. The Wharf consists of a long, coast side row of seafood restaurants, street vendors, souvenir stores, and beautiful ocean scenery. Fisherman's Wharf was originally a major fishing pier, and although the fishing industry is still alive today, the main focus of this specific coastal area is its historic tourist attractions. Ferry rides are offered for those who would like to visit Marin County. There are numerous attractions and places to eat."

"Fisherman's Wharf remains one of San Francisco's most popular tourist destinations. Parking is limited on the Wharf itself, parking downtown and taking a cable car to the Wharf is recommended. Ferry rides are offered for those who would like to visit Marin County. There are numerous attractions and great places to eat (see the other entries for Tourist Attractions and Fisherman Wharf restaurants). Wear comfortable shoes and dress in layers, even during summer months, the breeze off the ocean can be quite chilling. And take your camera. The photo opportunities are fabulous. And don't forget to visit the barking sea lions at Pier 39. The kids will love them, guaranteed!"

"The Fisherman's Wharf Area is another popular destination for tourists. A number of hotels are located here as well."

Wedding In July
  |   July, 2007   |   Attraction

"Popular with tourists and sea lions, Fisherman's Wharf is full of shops, silly museums and family fun. Still a working wharf, its vendors sell thousands of tons of fish and shellfish. Take an early morning walk down "Fish Alley" to see fisherman at work. Later, the Wharf is boardwalk-style family entertainment with decidedly tourist attractions such as Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum, the Red & White Fleet, a the Wax Museum. For maritime-lovers and WWII buffs, the San Francisco Maritime Musuem is at the foot of Polk St. and massive USS Pampanito is docked right at Pier 45"
