"The only reason I gave this one star was because of the actual property grounds being so beautiful and that is not thanks to Jami's Place, but just nature. The residence where my family actually stayed at, the place that was supposed to be incredibly comfortable and stress free on our wedding weekend was a nightmare. We arrived to filthy used bed linens, bathrooms that had actual previous renters clothes and used toiletries still around and had not been cleaned. My mother in law had to sleep in a bed that was so sunken in that you could hardly call it a bed, she ended up sleeping on the floor. The master suite is not really that at all as it has 3 twin beds in it and so as the bride and groom we forfeited the room to our brother and sister with a child. The other 2 rooms on the 2nd floor were extremely tiny and awkward, one of which didn't have a door and our cousins had to hang a sheet for privacy. The kitchen stove had not been cleaned in a while, there were still opened food products from previous house guests as well as personal belongings in the cupboards. The laundry room was stacked with towers of sheets and linens from previous guests. The garbage was piled up outside and it had neglected to be taken out so once we left our garbage only added to the growing pile of blight. On the morning of our wedding the area lost full power and water making for a not so fun way to wake up to on the day that was supposed to be stress free. If it had not been for mental and physical exhaustion after the wedding we would have sued this place for our money back. We just had no more energy to spend on this disaster of a vacation rental and said good riddance at the advice of our families."
