Sunday we're going to hang out in the park with a frisbee, a soccer ball, and those lawn games from the wedding. Hang out, lay on a blanket and recover from your hangover, play games, and just chill in the park.

A former airfield, Crissy Field is now a spectacular bayfront recreation area extending from the Marina Green to Fort Point at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. A walk or bike ride here could lead to further exploration of the emerging national park at the Presido, a former US Army base. To get there, take Muni's #30 (Stockton) bus northbound from downtown or North Beach to any stop along Chestnut Street in the Marina District and walk north to the waterfront.

Karen & Chris 5k Run/Walk: Located at The Presidio's Crissy Field. Saturday, September 22nd at 9:30AM. We will meet at the picnic tables near the beach for a continental breakfast. Chris will lead the runners and Karen will lead the walkers. Parking is available next to the beach.

We love this place! There's time to check it out between the ceremony and the reception.

If the weather is right this is one of our favorite places to take a nice stroll in the morning looking out onto the Golden Gate Bridge. Half way through is a warming hut for delicious bites to restore your energy.
