A statue of The Duke stands outside of HSS, a world-famous surf shop located on the corner of PCH and Main. Christa bought her first and only wetsuit here. Joe has bought many boards, wetsuits, and other surf swag here.

It's not very big but definitely worth a few dollar donation to see this impressive collection of surf culture. Frequently on Sunday afternoons there will be free live surf music which can just barely be heard from our back porch.

There is a surf competition on the south side of the pier nearly every weekend, but only once a year it also has 200K+ people, moto-x, and a skate park!

HB has a farmers market every friday with lots of locally grown and made food, and local artists. There are also lots of shops along Main Street, and of course SURFERS!
