The place to come to see the sea lions and do a bit of tourist shopping.

At Fisherman's Wharf. This is pretty much tourist central, but at least there are sea lions to look at. All the cheesy touristy restaurants are around here. You can also get the classic crab and chowder, although it may be overpriced. There are myriad great restaurants in SF; try not to eat all your meals at the restaurant chains :)

Visit Pier 39 to see the famous sea lions and grab some sourdough from Boudin's or have a clam chowder.
