"I really was disappointed with this vendor and could not in good conscience recommend her. The vendor list she supplied to me had listings on there that I told her on the consultation I did not want. They sent me to Running Horse Country Club which never came to be. I also asked for no venues with porta-potties and the list she included had those on there. We had to scramble to get an offciant and we asked to rescheldule our date and she told us she was booked. She did not offer to get us her other officiants or planner for us. We did not get the services we paid for."

Ginny and Nick 's Wedding
Ahwahnee, CA   |   April, 2008   |   Officiants

"By far, the worst part of my wedding was the ceremony. We paid a lot of money for the biggest package from this vendor. They offered unlimited vows to choose from, a rehearsal, keepsake vows and help with the paperwork. #1 The vows we were sent seemed to be the same ones I was finding myself on various websites. In the end, we wrote our own by combining several found online. #2 The rehearsal. The only part of the experience with this vendor that was good. However, the officiant didn't perform the rehearsal, it was his wife. #3 Having these people file the paperwork for us was a complete waste of time and money. I had no idea how easy this was. All you do is mail in a piece of paper that you need to have signed. I could have easily done this myself. The officiant made a mistake filling out the form and 3 months later, I still don't have a certificate of marriage. #4 The ceremony could not have been worse. The officiant didn't seem to have ever read my vows before. He also read them like an 8 year old reading in front of the class. He stopped at the end of each line, paused, and began reading again. The sentiment was completely lost. I didn't hear what he was saying because all I could think was, "I hope it's over soon". I've tried very hard to not think about it since the day. The keepsake vows were just the vows I wrote printed on some fancy paper, likely picked up at the local office supply store. I could not have been any more displeased with these people. I feel completely ripped off and my wedding ceremony was embarrassing."

From the vendor:

I deeply apologize to Nick and Ginny for their dissatisfaction. I had already previously spoken to Ginny regarding the matter and was unaware of the problem with the copy of the vows and the vow samples. I hope that Ginny was aware that she had full control over her vows and she did not have to use the samples that were given to her. The service also included unlimited samples, which meant if she didn't like the ones she was given, I would have sent her more. I have a huge database on my computer of vows. She was also free to change them anyway she liked. As for the license, they had filed their license with a county other than Fresno. Their county did not approve of our title of officiant which we were unaware of because Fresno allows us to use that title on the license. They required a change, which we filed for immediately. I'm not sure why Nick and Ginny have not yet received their license. They will have to follow up with their home county regarding that. I also truly regret that they were not happy with the service. I, myself, was not at the wedding, as my husband did do the ceremony. I assured Ginny that he had done weddings before and we have not had previous complaints. In fact, we've gotten quite a few great reviews that can be read on our website. And lastly, to address the copy of her vows. I agree they are printed on nice paper but I'm not sure what she was expecting. If you have any questions regarding further details, please contact me directly. I would love to clear up any miscommunications that may arise from this testimonial.

"We used Forever Weddings and it was a great experience. They were very professional and the first set of vows they sent were not quite what we wanted and I let them know and they sent a new group and we found exactly what we were looking for. The Officiant was on time at our wedding and the service was everything I could hope for, I look forward to watching the video time and time again."
