One of my bridesmaids organized a ladies afternoon tea the day before the wedding so the bridesmaids, groomsmen's spouses, mothers, sisters, and close friends could all have a chance to get to know one another before the big day. It was a lovely relaxing afternoon with a wonderful selection of tasty treats. I am so thankful that my bridesmaid organized this afternoon because it gave me a chance to talk and visit with some of my out-of-town relatives that I hadn't seen in a while. We were also glad we decided to stroll back to the hotels where most guests were staying because we certainly needed to walk off our lunch--those tea sandwiches, scones, and desserts may look tiny, but there were plenty to fill us up!
