Staten Island Wedding In September
"Stores right on the water! Once anchored by the Fulton Fish Market (which moved to Hunt’s Point in the Bronx in 2005), Fulton Market is still a thriving waterfront community complete with more than 100 shops, cafes and restaurants, and a world-class maritime museum. Being in the South Street Seaport, the market is also surrounded by history and views of Brooklyn."
Brooklyn Wedding In July
"There are tons of seafood restaurants and fun shops here. Take the 2/3 train to Fulton St and walk toward the water."
Jennifer and Isaac 's Wedding
"Plenty of shopping here!"

"Historic Pier. Has many shops, bars, and an amazing view of the Brooklyn Bridge."
New York Wedding In June
"The Seaport and Pier 17 have a rich and diverse history as profound to New York City as Wall Street, Central Park or Times Square. This cultural marketplace along the dynamic Lower Manhattan waterfront is a gateway to the harbor. The neighborhood offers attractions, shops and restaurants for every taste. Diverse year-round events are easily accessible by subway, car, ferry or bus. Concerts, street performers, boating, bike rentals, a farmers market, summer beach and winter celebrations abound."

"The South Street Seaport is a 12 block historic district in Manhattan. Located next to the Financial District, it contains some of the oldest architecture in downtown Manhattan and includes the largest concentration of restored early 19th-century commercial buildings in the city. This includes renovated original merchantile buildings, renovated sailing ships, the former Fulton Fish Market and modern tourist malls featuring food, shopping and nightlife, with a view of the Brooklyn Bridge."
Taylor and Carissa's Wedding
"A nice area for shopping or dinner if you decide to check out the financial district. If you walk out on the pier and look back toward land, you'll see an octagonal green glass building. This is where Carissa worked when she worked for Goldman Sachs!"

"One of the prettiest and most architecturally varied blocks in Brooklyn Heights is Willow Street between Middagh and Pierrepont streets. At No. 22 stands Henry Ward Beecher's house – a prim Greek Revival brownstone. Nos. 155-159 are three brick Federal row houses that were alleged stops on the Underground Railroad. Look down at a skylight in the pavement by the gate to No. 157. It provided the light for an underground tunnel leading to an 1880 carriage house."

"It is a bit crowded with all the tourists, but if you go straight to the end of the pier, you'll find that the view is worth it. You could also take a walk around the quiet and hidden neighborhood (peck slip, water street) beyond fulton and south streets..or walk down to battery park"

"Outside mall area with good views of the Brooklyn Bridge"
Laurel and Larry's Wedding
"It's kind of a big mall but the huge sailing ships docked at the pier are really awesome, and there's a little ship building museum right on the pier."
Lily and Declan's Wedding
"Very good cuban food! Great view!"
Jeff and Kristelle's Wedding
"A glimpse of the old seafaring history of New York. It used to be particularly fragrant when the fish market was down there (just moved a year or so ago)."
New York Wedding In July
"Shopping and boats!"
Justin and Ariela's Wedding
"Historic cite featuring great views of the water and the bridges. A mall, restaurants, and other tourist spots as well."
Jennifer and Colin's Wedding
""The historic area around Fulton Street boasts some of the oldest architecture in Manhattan. The three-floored Pier 17 Pavilion has plenty of restaurants and bars, some high-end, some pubby, and a good number serving seafood and daiquiris to customers sitting waterside. The promenade wrapping around the pavilion is a good place for a stroll, as it offers a close-up view of the Brooklyn Bridge, as well as views of Brooklyn and Governors Island across the harbor.""

"What used to be a bustling seaport in the 18th and 19th centuries, South Street Seaport now encompasses newly restored buildings, which house a variety of restaurants, specialty food shops and boutiques. Also, nearby, the South Street Seaport Museum is located within the 12 square block Landmark Historic District that stretches from Fulton Street to the Brooklyn Bridge. Take the 2, 3, 4, 5, J, or M train to Fulton Street, or the A or C train to Broadway-Nassau. Phone: (212) SEA-PORT."
Lauren and Jason's Wedding
"One of the most popular ways to get discount tickets to see Broadway and Off-Broadway productions is through the TKTS booths. The downside is that you have to wait on line to get the tickets. Tickets are available for same-day performances and matinees, which are sold a day in advance, generally at 50% or 25% off the full ticket price."
Alyssa and Michael's Wedding
"Spend some time at the mall...get some cute shoes to wear at the wedding."
