"Moored across the river from downtown Wilmington, the USS North Carolina can be visited every day from 8-5 pm. There is a self-guided tour which takes approximately 2 hours. Their website warns: "The Ship is huge and not air conditioned so be prepared to savor her as the sailors did." The admission fees are: Adults 12 and over: $12 Seniors 65 and over: $10 Children: Ages 6-11: $6 Children 5 and under: FREE"
