Free zoo and a big park to play in! Also, there's a cool restored merry-go-round to ride on.
Karen and Scott's Wedding
This is a very nice zoo located near downtown Madison. You can stroll through the zoo or adjacent lakefront park. This zoo and park always offer FREE admission. Henry Vilas Zoo is open year round. Grounds are open daily from 9:30 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Building hours are 10:00 A.M. - 4:00 P.M. http://www.vilaszoo.org/

Henry Vilas Zoo is a perfect way to spend an afternoon. It's located on Lake Wingra so you can go visit the animals, swim at the beach, walk through the Arboretum, or play at the park. The best part about the zoo is that it's free!
