My husband and I got married there December of last year...it was beautiful. :) Also, it was great that we could bring in all our own vendors. Good, I'm glad! Just another thought...we had around 120 guests and it was pretty cramped! It was awesome to have everyone together and I wouldn't change a thing about the day...but keep that in mind if you're planning on having a large wedding. We didn't have much of a dance floor and our gobo wouldn't fit in the small space on the floor...we had to put it on the wall. I think that would be my only con!! :)

Yea, we invited around 175 and ended up having about 120 guests show. Another place my husband and I looked at was called Merle Manders in Stockbridge, Ga. Not sure where y'all are located but if having a large dance floor is important, you should definately check it out. www.mmccevents.com.
If your budget allows, the Egyptian Ballroom at the Fox Theatre is amazing too!! My sister in law got married there and it was incredible. :)

we got married there in February and loved the venue. we had about 140 attend and while it was tight, it really did make people interact and the energy was fantastic. The wedding was in the ballroom, then we went upstairs for cocktails and hors douevres while they flipped the room. We had a great band and plenty of room for dancing. Everyone loved it. Good luck.

Have you looked at Carl House. It is amazing and can fit up to 300 guests all in the same area. You should take a look at it. I just attended a wedding there and it was the most fun and most beautiful wedding that I've ever been to.
