I understand your dilemma. I went through the same thing.

We got married on the beach right by our condo; it was a public beach. I called the Chamber of Commerce to check the rules and regulations...

Since ours was a small wedding, it certainly made it much easier.

I have many questions for you...how many in the wedding; how many guests?; how big of a reception?

The answers to all of those will help dictate the answers. Also, when are you getting married? Where will you be staying (I have some info for that...).

The last one we did was at the Rockport Beach Pavilions. We have also shot some weddings at the Sand Castle Resort at Port A. We work with Amy at Outside the Box Weddings and Parties all the time. She is always working beach weddings. You might want to call her at the office. 361-729-7800

Hi Jess ! I understand what you mean by limited info . I live in Massachusetts and after planning a $20k wedding at a country club by the water here , I realized what the heck am I doing ? Its called event creations and they have a web sight her name is Lou Ann and thanks to her we will have our dream wedding under $5 k !! I also have rooms booked at the plantation suites for under $80 a night ! My fiancé and I are going to port aransas next month and can't wait to see this place and meet Lou Ann . Hello! We are getting married in Port A in October! It is free to get married right on the beach; you just need to let the city now if there are more than 50 people attending. Hi we had the same scenario we are getting married there on Sept 19 which is right around the corner. we are staying at Beachgate Condos and suites and since they are right on the beach we are having the ceremony on the beach and then walking right back to the condos for the reception!!

I am getting married in June! I love tje idea of the beach, just a oil complicated on the planning! Ha! Truyin to get all the info I can!
