Ok this isn't just a tight budget, this is a tiny tight budget. Im trying to stay under 5,000 for the whole thing. I have future in-laws telling me even that is on the expensive side. "it's supposed to be fun, not expensive." I'm not having fun trying to find a venue, unless anxiety is considered fun. I can't see myself having fun frantically setting up chairs and crock pots on the day of my wedding. Don't get me wrong I'm all about DIY but I need some help on this one. I want a nice wedding, I have waited a long time. After 6 years and a child together, I want this day to be special, not stressful. Help!!!
I am not a wedding planner, I provide musicians for weddings and ceremonies. However, when my daughter married, we had a beautiful wedding for about 125 guests with food (a meal - not just finger food) wedding cake and live musicians for the ceremony and the reception for about $5000 here in Nashville. Call me if I can be of help. 615-972-3832
I had my wedding at the Cool Springs House in Brentwood. It was very inexpensive but really beautiful. If you are having a small one, you can have it inside but larger has to be outside. I did mine outside and rented a tent.
We had our wedding & reception at Maggiano's and used the dinner (not wedding) catering menu. They set up everything and were wonderful. If you keep the guest list small you can have a very elegant and intimate wedding. We even had a DJ and dance floor. They let us bring in a beautiful wedding cake from Publics and set it up for us on a cake table. Good look whatever you do. You can have a beautiful wedding on a tight budget. We did it!
