So I'm a bride to be stressing over my reception. I'm in love with sweet arrow lake the outside is great for the ceremony and the inside would be perfect if it were a little bigger. My questioni is has anyone gone to a wedding there how did the reception inside work for them, did they dance inside? I also was informed the pavilion was somewhere others chose t have just to dance, did thus go over smoothly just wondering because my guest list is at 120 the max they allow for this hall. Just don't want it to be over crowded.
Hi - I have photographed several weddings there, it is beautiful. The last one I did, the tables and cake were set up inside for dinner and first dance, but the dancing and the rest of the evening was mainly outside under the pavilion. I have several galleries of photos from there if you'd like to see! The pavilion outside was great, the bathroom is right there (it's nice) and there is a bar also. As long as you are planning your wedding in early spring or fall, I don't think you would even need to worry about excessive heat, and from the standpoint of the photographer, the sunsets are gorgeous over the water. Your photos would be spectacular! -Krista www.iloveKphotography.com
