I'm looking for a place to have my wedding and reception and allow you to bring your own caterer. There will be 130 guests, do anyone know of any locations in phila pa or about 30 minutes from phila pa.

Hi, I am a planner in Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley. If you drop down to 120 guests you could do it at Colonial Dames, Phil. I am currently doing a reception at the Free Library of Philadelphia, but discovering that even though the rental is reasonable and you bring your own caterer, you have to spend more to make it look right. While folding chairs do not look good, and it needs professional lighting.

So pick a place where the major decor elements are right and you have seen pictures of previous weddings at that venue and like the way it looks.

In Philadelphia, weddings with a caterer will cost you about $145 per person including linens, staff, alcohol.

We decided on Beat Street Station. You can bring your own caterers but we chose to go with theirs. Its a great place that can hold 130 ppl. comfortably. Everyone has been great too. Also its located in Manayunk, PA. Hope this helps!
