I was wondering if any Brides had floor plans/ seating Charts for the Newcastle Community Hall. I am working on a seating chart and Im not sure how many round tables I can fit in and still have a dance floor. I have 130 guests!
Hi There! I forget how many we had, maybe 100? I loved how we set up the room. We put the head tables against the wall so that we wouldn't block the stage. (The ONLY free wall! LOL) The caterers had done NTH before, and knew the best way to lay out the buffet. We had two of the same buffet tables mirrored on the carpeted area. Guests came up the side stairs and came by both sides of the table, then went down the middle stairs to go back to their seats. This way we had FOUR lines going at the same time, and that way no one had to wait too long to eat! It was perfect! It was a kid friendly wedding, so there was a build your own sundae bar too, with fruit and chocolate. I've been to a couple of weddings there... I've seen people put tables on the carpeted area. I've also seen in a magazine the daughter of a large orchard in the area have her wedding featured. It looked amazing. She had a lot of people, and they put the head table on the stage. It looked good! NTH Was the BEST place for our wedding! I was SO SO Happy! Happy Wedding Planning!
