Bands in the Boston Area

We're getting married in Concord and we're looking for a quality band that doesn't cost more than $6,000 or so. I'm a little worried about hiring a band that's too cheesy. If anyone has any suggestions, we'd love to hear them. We're planning the wedding from San Francisco, so it's hard for us to get out and see the bands play.

I know it's a little more than you were planning to spend, but we hired Night Rhythm, an 8 piece band for a little over 6000. They are expensive, but ABSOLUTELY worth the money. Our wedding hasn't happened yet, but we went to their "showcase" twice where they play for potential clients, and they gave me goosebumps. The singers are extremely talented. We looked at a lot of bands around here, and they are by far the best we've seen. The same company also has a 6 piece band, which is probably cheaper. I haven't seen them, but I'm sure they are very good too.

Great, thanks so much for the recommendation. We might be able to extend our budget a bit. I checked out their website and these guys look great. Thanks again for the help!
What about Kahootz? I've heard good things about them from some people, but I don't know much about them. Any thoughts / opinions?

Thanks again for the lead on Night Rhythm. My in-laws checked them out live, and they really liked them. We are now trying to decide between Night Rhythm and Rare Form. Does anyone have an opinion on Rare Form? Their website is full of raving reviews, but I'd love to hear something that they haven't edited themselves.
