I want to get married on the south shore, but I cant find anything that isnt a golf or yatch club! Anyone know of a cool more modern venue in Plymouth or surrounding towns? I grew up in Duxbury and want to stay local.

There are a couple options in Cohasset. The Red Lion Inn and Lightkeeper's Cottage are both charming and unique. And Atlantica (restaurant) is more modern and right on the harbor, which is beautiful, of course!

Atlantica is a beutiful venue. Another idea is Pine Hills in Plymouth. They have a lovely function room.

Thanks! I just found out about Red Lion and it looks beautiful. What about Jones River Trading in Kingston? The inside pictures look cool, but I cant find much on the grounds.

I don't know anything about Jones River Trading, but I think the Red Lion Inn could be great. It's definitely not modern, but it's unique and very pretty!

I just came across Raffael's at the Clarion Hotel in Nantasket Beach, Hull. It's a beautiful location right across from the beach.

Thanks-that does sound great. My mother was telling me about Cranebrook Tea Room also. Anyone have any experience there? Or the Daniel Webster House in Marshfield?
