DIY wedding ideas

Hi,

In addition to planning my own upcoming wedding, I'm working on a story for the Chicago Tribune about Do-It-Yourself wedding projects and ideas. Hi Kristie-

I am not done planning my wedding, but I did/am planning to do DIY invitations, unity candle, table numbers, escort cards, sweets table, favors, programs, slideshow, etc. I got much of my inspiration from Paper-Source or TheKnot.com.

We had DIY unique Mardi Gras and Norwegian favors, pew decorations, invitations and programs, table numbers, and authentic Norwegian wedding cakes. A clash of cultures with Norwegian church wedding and Mardi Gras reception. Couldn't have been more fun.
