Looking for venues/reception and even churches

Hey there- My wedding is starting to get planned for Nov 29th 2008-- I need advice on where if possible.

Ideally, would like a Cathedral wedding but churches are kind of strict and expensive. However, if you know of something- pls do suggest.

Also how is Ruth Eckerd Hall and also Bon Appetit for Receptions?

Hi There,
I had my wedding at Ruth Eckerd Hall and it was absolutely gorgeous! The guests raved about the ceiling/chandelier and Marty, the coordinator, was incredibly helpful. You may want to check out central christian church in Clearwater (you can google them). That's where I had my ceremony and it was perfect! It's only about 10 minutes away from REH too! They don't require you to members either (most churches do).

You should check out theknot.com

They have message boards for girls getting married in the area and all the girls on there are really helpful!

My wedding will be on the 14thFEb2009. I am from out of town and never been to florida. I am planning to book ruth eckerd hall for my reception. Do you think you could show me pictures from your wedding..it would really be nice.

Bon Appetit is over $100 per person for reception, beautiful, but a little pricey.

Catering by the Family, its out of Tampa, great food, very reasonable pricing. I even got a wedding cake in the package I picked which is about $50 a person, buffett style and open bar for 3 hours.
