Calculating your Guess List

Hi ladies,
Here's a question for those of you who have already married in Cartagena. About what percentage of your guests actually made it there? I know it depends on your friends and where they are traveling, etc but it would be really helpful to hear about real experiences. My guests will be primarily traveling from D.C. and South Florida. We are planning for an 80 person wedding and I'm trying to figure out up to how many people I should be able to send an invitation. So...how many people did you invite and how many made it?

Dear Katy

If you want to invite 80 people, probably only 70 people confirmed, but is not recommended to be strict about this, you may attend more people than you expect.

Hola Katy,
I recently got married in Cartagena. My husband & I invited about 120 people. However, we were aware that at least 40 people could not travel to Colombia, therefore we had a little celebration in the States as well. We received about 75 RSVP for Cartagena (btwn Colombian & American guests) and only 65 people showed up. Still, we ordered food for all the RSVPS and warmed up the leftover the next day :)
