Hi Jess, we've hired a wedding planner to deal with all this paperwork as it can be a nightmare. I'm not an expert, but I'm fairly certain you can rule out any kind of catholic ceremony if you're already married. At best you could attend a mass and ask the priest to say a blessing for your union. However I'm sure you could have some kind of non-religious ceremony at the reception venue or at another location, like the beach for example, if you'd like to say your vows in front of all your family and friends.
Greg, we've just started planning but we were given a ballpark quote of 15,000USD for 70 people including the wedding planner's fee, church, venue, photography, decoration etc. We're going to bring that down a little by asking friends to DJ and take photos (they're professionals). I hope that helps.
Hello Suzie, I'm getting married in Cartagena as well (fall 2012). I just started organizing all. Can I contact you directly? I have couple of questions about the USD 15,000 estimate they gave you. I have the same amount of guest.
