My daughter was married at Newlands last year. The venue was lovely and the food was superb. However, after booking, we were not particularly happy with the photographers package as it seemed minimal for the price and the add-ons were quite costly. On the wedding day it was raining and yet they decided to photograph the bride sitting on the wet grass in her wedding gown. My daughter was in tears and rather than provide an alternative background, they told her that tearful brides made better pictures. I was horrified.

Other than that issue, I had no complaints about Newlands.

I was just wondering what you received as part of the photography package without the extras? Thanks.

The wedding package we received includes 6 hours of coverage (you choose when you want it to begin) 1-11x14 portrait, laminated, ready to frame, one 8x10 20 page album containing 8x10s, 5x7s, 4x5s to fill 100 images, and choice of low resolution disc OR printed proofs or thank you cards with envelopes.
