Thanks for your reply......Butch works at Redstone...ATTV or ATTC.....I'm not up on all the military lingo...ha......but when I told him about your BIG day and it being at the Officer's Club.....he said getting guests thru the gate would be very difficult...He's retired Army....of 22 yrs....but thanks so much in getting back with me...I'll get back with you soon...Don't know much about Burrit Mountain but just saw some pics of the stone area and looks nice...did you check that area out in your search?....then thought of just going to downtown area of H'ville and looking at any historica buildings as a venue???Did you?....Take care and thanks a million for your help!!!.......Sandy

Sandy...just an FYI...the staff at the arsenal were excellent and VERY helpful...and you just submit your guest list (we gave them both the rehearsal list and the wedding guest list) and the guys at the gate facilitate the entrance onto the base without a hitch...we did look elsewhere...there are many beautiful spots...even the court house with its huge portico is lovely
Have fun...I can't believe ours was 7 months ago...

Burritt's Rental section of their website. The gazeebo is a beautiful portion of the property that overlooks the valley.

The Huntsville Botanical Gardens was my first choice. I wanted to cut down on decorations and The Arbor and the Gardens have sooo many natural and painted decorations.

I didn't look at any other historical venues other than Burritt. Burritt has a old colonial house/mansion that you may be interested in depending upon how many people you're hosting.
