Expert Advice from wedding guru, Sharon Naylor

Question:
My fiance and I are planning a wedding in Mexico Beach, Fl. and would love to have our ceremony and reception on the beach. There are many questions that I have and a couple of those are: 1) Is having the wedding at 1:30 a good time of the day (we would like to get married then because that is the time he proposed to me), 2) Is having the ceremony and reception ideal on the beach, how would that work, and 3) How do we keep the day elegant or beautiful with decorations? Thank you
Tam
Answer:
Hi Tam:
The heat of the day is a big concern. What is the season/month of your wedding? In Florida, you really have to take heat, humidity and storm season into consideration when it comes to your guests' comfort and the safety of your wedding day. Just let me know, and I can help you further!

The wedding will be in Sept. 1, 2011. I have spoken to some photograhers and they are stating that 1:30 is going to be hard to receive great pictures.
I have seen a couple of pictures with having the reception on the beach with lower tables and ottoman like chairs. Would having the ceremony set up at the same place as the reception tacky?
Thank you
Tam
