HELP! recently engaged this past wkend,trying to plan an oct 2010 wedding. not sure where to start. fiance and i want small, simple wedding (nondenominational) looking for a place mayber near oconomowoc....good scenery. possibly a place to get married and have the reception.

First, check WeddingMapper.com's fabulous page where you can ask other area brides and grooms where they got married, who they hired, and what they thought about those options. Talk to recently married friends and family to see who they used for their special celebrations and corporate parties, maybe to get a Friends and Family Discount which is so important now.
I'd also get a great wedding coordinator who can help you with just the basics of booking vendors, handling the day-of work, or the whole thing.
