in the middle of UGA - downtown is about 3/4 mile up a hill, very pretty location, must pay for parking.
Taxi ride costs $8-$10 from airport to most hotels listed. Rental cars are also available w/Hertz
Cost to Athens - about $50 shuttle ride, time is 1.5hrs
Health food store about 1 mile outside of town.

North campus borders downtown athens. Also on the same street as several restaurants and hotels.
