I am having trouble picking a resort to host our destination wedding in! I am not even set on a certain area yet (Riviera Maya, Cancun, etc.). Help! I am looking for the best quality and most affordable!

Dear Kate,

We are pleased to help you, I commented that it depends on the budget they have for the rooms, which cost are looking for?

dls less than 100?
between 100 and 200 DLS?

It also depends on the number of guests who are to have?

There are some hotels where we can get courtesies for some free stuff for the wedding according to the number of guests staying at the hotel.

We can send you various options and provide service wedding planner (we are very accessible) so do not worry about anything

Hi, Isla Mujeres is beautiful and just 15 min ferry from Cancun.
Here the sun sets over the ocean at your beach wedding not the hotel.

I went with Moon Palace, which is part of the Palace Resorts chain. They have all inclusive wedding and stay packages for very reasonable prices. Another reason we chose this Cancun resort is because they have wristbands that allow you access to all their sister properties in the area where u can eat, drink, and use their facilities for free, just like you would at your own resort. It was an amazing experience and VERY easy to coordinate. Things turned out perfectly. I can't remember the website, but if you google Palace resorts I'm certain you'll find a resort that you like best. Ours was huge and had everything.

We have stayed at moon palace, it is HUGE and miles away from anything else out on the road to playa del Carmen, once you are in resort, you are IN resort. I found it too big, buffet meals was a bi like being at huge cafeterias.
We really like privilege Aluxes on isla mujeres. It's all inclusive, right on the beach, but all the local markets, bars, restaurants and shops are 5 mins walk away. Views are stunning! You get sunset off your balcony. It's a condo hotel. So you get more than just a room. And their in house wedding planner Elba is so lovely!

Hi Kate,
First of all congratulations to you! There are several hotels that are great for kids in Isla Mujeres (Playa Norte is very shallow, palm fringed beach) and I can strongly recommend Cabanas Maria del Mar or Media Luna. They also organize the most beautiful weddings on the island. I am a Minister for weddings (minister-petra.com) and have worked at most places and this is definitely one of my favorite locations. Get in touch with Maria Lima without obligations and see what she can offer. In Cancun the best beach for children is up to km 8 as the beach there is also shallow and great for kids. A nice hotel also with a nice palapa for weddings is the Kin Ha. Along the Riviera Maya there are several hotels but most of them are huge A/I resorts. Like many of the girls already said, you can stay in a hotel and plan your wedding somewhere else. It is often cheaper to do this even though the hotels offer packages but you are free to chose who you want to book and the wedding coordinators are great to work with. If you are looking for a private villa, have a look at Villa Albatros in Cancun. Its reasonably priced, great villa and perfect for a wedding. Congratulations and please feel free to contact me if I can be of help with anything.
