We got married at San Cristobal in 2013.
You'll need to contact Jorge Maldonado of National Park Services. He will send you an event application. There's a non-refundable $50 applications fee. Once approved, you just need to get event insurance and provide a copy of the insurance certificate. The total cost for us to rent the fort was around $720.El Morro might be a bit less because it's smaller so they only need 2 staff members present instead of 3. You also to pay the entrance fee for all your guests, which is $3. We had 90 guests. If you get married inside El Morro, you have to do it after the park is closed. The park closes at 6pm,so by the time they get the place ready, 7pm would be the ceremony time. If you get married outside the fort, you can get married at anytime. If you have any other questions, let me know. Hope that helps!
Congratulations in the engagement!
The contact person in the National Park Service is Ms. Julia Treu-Fowler; Mr. Maldonado is no longer working in the SJ National Park Service, please see her information bellow:
