You may want to look into the Upfront. They have a really beautiful large banquet room that looks out onto Lake Superior & one of the old ore docks. In terms of price, you can make things less expensive if you choose to do a cheaper menu-- like simply appetizers, or if you don't include alcohol (have a cash bar), etc. The space is awesome & the location is ideal. If you do end up figuring out a full dinner menu, the food was FANTASTIC and well worth the price. Good luck & Best wishes!
We had our wedding party at the Holiday Inn, they have food, booze and rooms. The food is great and they have a great menu to choose from. The staff was so friendly and helpful, which made the experience nice and smooth.
Marquette Mountain is another great location and it won't break the bank. Rich is who you'd work with and he is a very hard-working guy and will make sure your wedding reception is all that you could ever dream of!
From Sarah Ruuska:
My husband manages Upfront and Company. It has a beautiful banquet hall that over looks Lake Superior. You would talk to Anna Glinn. If your needing flowers I own Lutey's Flower Shop. You can find us on facebook.
I was actually looking at going to Luteys for flowers :) I saw some beautiful bouquets online that are exactly what i'm looking for! Thank you everyone for the ideas. I did talk to Holiday Inn earlier and they are very reasonably priced. I'll give the UpFront a call :)
And now that I am looking, you did the flowers for my brother Tommy and sister in law Cassie's wedding!
